Alessandro Bosetti
Composer and sound artist with a specific interest in the musicality of spoken language, voice — understood as an autonomous sound being — as well as in the relationship between sound and memory. His recent works include the voice archive Plane Talea (in progress), the radio performances Je ne suis pas là pour parler (2019) et Consensus Partium (2020), the cycle of compositions Pièces à pédales (2021) and the musical theater pièces Journal de Bord and Portraits des Voix with Neue Vocalsolisten Stuttgart ( 2018 and 2021).
Alessandro Bosetti’s music is regularly programmed in festivals such as Festival d’Automne in Paris, Festival Eclat in Stuttgart, GRM’s Présences Electroniques festival in Paris, Liquid Architecture festival in Melbourne, San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, Musica festival in Strasbourg and Ruido Festival in Buenos Aires.
Numerous record releases on labels such as Errant Bodies Press, Holidays Records, Rossbin, Sedimental, Unsounds and Monotype, which dedicated a retrospective box set (4 CDs) to his work in 2016. His book Thèses/Voix — a collection of texts between theory, poetry and score — was published in 2021 by Les presses du réel.
The vinyl «FasFari» – the most recent installment of the Plane Talea series- and the CD Portraits des Voix are just out on Xong and Kohlhaas records.

Cluster is a new-music series devoted to the investigation of sound and notation, which provides musicians and composers with an exchange area in Berlin, at the crossroad of compositional and performance practices.
Labor Neunzehn is an artist-run project engaged in a cross-disciplinary discourse on time-based-art that involves expanded cinema, modern music, publishing, and the critical reflection in media art, with a specific focus on the migration of these languages between the online and offline domains. As an independent curatorial platform and a non-profit initiative for the production of research projects, exhibitions, performances, workshops, we are committed to the presentation of collaborative outcomes and hybrid formats.
