Alessandro Massobrio is a new music composer, electronic musician and guitarist. Valentina Besegher is an avant-garde filmmaker, live video performer and visual artist. They collaborate since 2002, having their works been screened and/or performed internationally in different venues and festivals, among which Offf Festival Barcelona, café Oto, Brunel University London, European Media Art Festival in Osnabrück, Issue Project Room NYC, Cartes Flux in Espoo Finland, Oslo Screen Festival, Mir Festival in Athens, NeMe Arts Centre in Limassol, Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi PecciSimultan Festival in Timisoara, Detmold Concert Hall, Ostrava Philharmonie, Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht, Unerhörte Musik Berlin, Mise-en Music Festival in NYC. Valentina and Alessandro work also as independent curators and live in Berlin.

Cluster” is a music series devoted to sound investigation with a particular focus on contemporary languages, new music and extended techniques. “Cluster” supports the collaborative work and aims to offer an exchange platform for musicians, composers and electronic music performers in Berlin-Treptow.
