For this edition of Art Photo Bcn, Labor Neunzehn presents the photographic work of Martina della Valle.
Her practice combines fundamental photographic techniques—merging analogue processes with digital media—with archival and collaborative research to create site-specific installations, objects, and printed matter.
Both previous and new editions of Kamera Cahiers, designed and curated in collaboration with AVARIE, will be on display, with particular focus on those dedicated to the conceptual artist Peter Downsbrough and the Super 8 filmmaker Helga Fanderl. Also exhibited will be the AVARIE editions dedicated to Ion Grigorescu and Antoine d’Agata.

KAMERA CAHIERS are special edition issues, accompanying KAMERA SERIES | experimental films and printed matter.
Independent artists’ booklets to collect, curated and designed by Valentina Besegher Scotti and Giuliana Prucca, they compile a missing image or an unreleased second of a film, expanded to 24 pages, and perfomed writings coming from texts, scripts, books, notes. They contain a small piece directly removed from the exhibition.
Published in 75 numbered copies by AVARIE and Labor Neunzehn, cahiers’ covers are printed in letterpress by Archivio Tipografico with lead typeface Magister designed by Aldo Novarese in 1966.
